Google Realtime Search – Live Updates
Google has officially confirmed they are testing an innovative feature of its search engine results page (SERPs) that updates in real-time.
Moreover, Google Realtime is giving those search results their own section and a “conversation” view also.
Concept inspired from sources like Twitter and news organizations in December, Realtime Search has come to the testing point.
This new service can be accessed from the left-hand side of Google’s main search results page under “Updates,” or directly through a different URL: google.com/landing/realtime
Microsoft and Yahoo have also tried to experiment a real-time search as Bing has a separate page dedicated to “social” results.
Google is currently running limited tests of the function, which is said to be one of “50-200 experiments” operating simultaneously on the search engine, revealed a spokesperson for the Mountain View company.
