Nicole Scherzinger and Derek Hough win ‘Dancing with the Stars’‎

It is pretty hard to fathom Chrstiane Amanpour wearing the outfit that Erin Andrews donned on Monday night as she did a jig around a bed with Maksim Chmerkovskiy, a partner in “Dancing with the Stars”.

It will be just as hard to imagine the gold that Lamecorset Andrews adorned to “Dancing” in the previous week on Katie Curic. Still, Katie Curic is just unbelievably beautiful too.

The only area that you would catch Rachel Maddow wearing the exposing beach wear  and  the tangled skirt Andrews wore  during her Samba (right) would be in some rookie artist’s studio or  online gallery.

In any case, Andrews might just have rewritten the middle the code of dressing that is alright for female reporters to don.

She has done it at the right time too after the terrible experience of finding herself on video taped illegally through hotel keyholes by Michael David Barrett, who is incarcerated for pestering Andrews and posting her videos without permission on the internet. Many ladies would crawl under the bed; she is undulating on it.

Andrews lived through Elizabeth Hasselback’s unmerciful comments on “The View” that Barrett should have held around for “Dancing with Stars” instead of following the ESPN star.

“What I am saying is if I was him.” Hasselback commented, “I go like, ‘Hey! I would only have held my peace for three months and seen a little of all that is there with my freedom”’

Pooh! Andrews should have hired Amanpour’s flak court to wear it with her long boots!

Andrews’ “dancing with stars” spell is the realization of a lifetime’s dream. Dancing has been her hobby and area of excellence: she danced in the University of Florida Gators basketball cheerleading team when she was studying there. Can’t a woman reporter do a jig?

True, but then, Andrews want to have her cake and eat it. She wishes to be thought of as a reporter. She wants to investigate and see things, not to be seen. But a reporter exposes facts, not her belly button.

Face the truth: Andrews is a sports journalist. Even as she knows about sport, she still wants to be admired.

She has been ranked as America’s most appealing sports anchor –double times-by Playboy, and she acknowledged them.  She has been photographed in scanty dressing by Sports Illustrated and GQ. She has looked for stardom.

When the peeping to pervert story broke, the photographers changed her from the narrator to the narration, phoning 911 and yelling to the operator, “I’m being hounded like f-ing Britney Spears!” Paradoxically, she has Spear’s fashionista, Paige Geran, to outfit her for ESPN dances.

With the end of “Dancing with the Stars” here, Andrews will have to make up her mind whether to be an ethical reporter or go on being a sidelines reporter who does not mind a jig.

Now that “Dancing with the Stars” is over, Andrews is going to have to decide whether she wants to be a proper journalist or continue to be a journalistic lightweight who’s light on her feet.
