Manufacturing Economy is slowing down

Items which had to last for more than three years – turned one percent, from -0.8 percent in May. It was the biggest drop since August, 2009.

Economists also determine durable goods without transportation because that sector is so unpredictable. Without transportation, the decline was 0.6 percent from up 1.2 percent in May.

The durable goods report, give a picture of minimum increase as the manufacturing sector is slowing down. Manufacturing has been touted as one of the most important sectors of the economic improvement.

Manufacture and transportation for non-military capital goods, not including aircraft climbed 0.6 percent in June, after jumping 4.6 percent in May.

This could be an indication that business venture could see progress over the next two quarters.
