Microsoft company reported profit jumps at 48%, as strong sales of Windows 7 pushing quarterly earnings to $4.52-billion.

Windows revenue was up 44% and Office revenue up 15% in the fourth fiscal quarter, fueling $4.5 billion in net revenue.

“We saw strong sales execution across all of our businesses, particularly in the enterprise with Windows 7 and Office 2010,” Kevin Turner, chief operating officer for Microsoft stated.
