Taliban attack on a NATO base
Seven Talibans were killed and five NATO troopers were wounded, during the night of a struggle in the military base at Bagram, the largest in Afghanistan, announced this morning, NATO headquarters, adding that the fighting continues.
“Seven insurgents were killed during an attack that continues to Bagram,” said NATO, saying that Taliban are using “missiles, grenades and automatic weapons.”
“Five soldiers were wounded,” said the NATO headquarters.
The attack was claimed by the Taliban, who said that it was committed by “20 Taliban suicide bombers. ”
Today, at 05.00, 20 Taliban suicide bombers attacked Bagram base in the eastern and western flanks,” said Zabihullah Mujahid, spokesman for the Taliban headquarters.
