Andy Murray outlasts Richard Gasquet at French Open‎

The fourth seed in the French Open, Andy Murray has stunned Richard Gasquet, the local favorite to enter the second round at Roland Garros.

The five-set match ran for over four hours, in which Gasquet lead with a two sets to zero. Murray made a sensational come back and won the match 4-6 6-7 6-4 6-2 6-1.

The sixty eighth seeded Gasquet was backed by his home crowd but was outplayed by the Scot in the last three sets. He told the reporters, “It’s always hard in Grand Slam, especially against Murray”.

The victory was a comeback of sorts for Murray, who has been struggling to find his form.
