Aus Vs Pak 2nd test, day 1: Australia elect to bat
Australia have won the toss and elected to bat first in the second test against Pakistan at Leeds. This is the final test against Pakistan and Australia go in with a 1-0 lead having won the first test at Lords by 150 runs last week.
Pakistan have had big changes between then and now. The main talking point off course is the retirement of captain Shahid Afridi and the appointment of Salman Butt to lead the team.
All rounder Shoaib Malik has made the cut into the final eleven due to Afridis absence. However Saeed Ajmal, who was widely tipped to replace Danish Kaneria, has not been named in the starting eleven.
Australia have named an unchanged side from the one that dominated at Lords. Marcus North and Ben Hilfenhaus who were both in doubt earlier this week, are fully fit.
A short time ago Australia were 0/10 from 3 overs. Simon Katich is on 7, while Shane Watson is on one.
Pakistan team: Salman Butt (capt), Kamran Akmal (wk and vc), Imran Farhat, Azhar Ali, Umar Akmal, Umar Amin, Shoaib Malik, Mohammad Aamer, Umar Gul, Danish Kaneria, Mohammad Asif
Australian team: Ricky Ponting (capt), Michael Clarke (vc), Tim Paine (wk), Shane Watson, Simon Katich, Mike Hussey, Marcus North, Mitchell Johnson, Steve Smith, Ben Hilfenhaus, Doug Bollinger.
