Preparation for a fast is always helpful, especially in the taxing months of extreme summerand winter. Dehydration being a recurrent side-effect of fasting, you should drink plenty ofwater and fluids to stay at the peak of health. Keep away from fried food and carbohydratesimmediately after breaking the fast. Always have a glass of glucose water near you andconsume it if you are feeling tired. To alleviate acidity, drink a little bit of chilled milk. Afterbreaking the fast try not to gorge on solid food. Let your body readjust. Start with fluids, juices, yoghurt and consequently move to solids. Keep water close to you and try your bestnot to abstain from water as it is required to flush away metabolic waste crystals.
