Fifa World Cup 2010 live: Uraguay vs South Korea preview
Despite being cast as underdogs, South Korea and Uruguay have defied all odds and made it to the round of 16 at the 2010 Fifa World Cup. Mexico, Nigeria or France would have been the favourites to play the first round of 16 game before the competition started, but France and Nigeria have been dumped, while Mexico has to settle for the number 2 spot in group A behind Uraguay.
Uruguay have a strong recored coming into this game. They havent conceded a goal all throughout the FIFA World Cup 2010 group stages. Korea on the other hand has made it to the round of 16 for the first time outside home soil ( the last being in 2002 when Korea co hosted the tournament) and would like to make the most of it.
