Wizz Air launches the delay insurance
Low cost Wizz Air airlines introduces the delay insurance. For those delays which are longer than two hours, passengers will receive a credit of 100$ that can be used to purchase new tickets or Wizz Air additional products .
Insurance shall cover all types of delay, including those caused by sudden uncontrollable events of such as bad weather or strikes.
This type of delay insurance can be purchased online, when booking the ticket, or later using the option of adding a new wizzair.com service or using the local call center with up to two days prior to departure.
Wizz Air fleet currently consists of 30 Airbus A320 aircrafts and operates on 12 bases in Poland, Hungary, Bulgaria, Romania, Ukraine and Czech Republic.
