Mangalore Air crash Black box recovered
On Tuesday on the crash site of Air India plane “black box” has been recovered.
But the exact location where the device was found was not provided. The team later on Sunday recovered the cockpit voice recorder and the part of black box containing the digital flight data acquisition unit.
All the flight information was stored in this device. The flight IX 812 burst into flames after falling over the cliff on early Saturday. 158 victims including 19 children’s were burnt to death.
All six crew members of the flight also died. Eight passengers survived and were treated in different hospitals of the city.
