State of emergency in Bangkok
The army announced that it has ended the operation launched last night and has evacuated the busy district of the capital Bangkok ocupied by the “red shirts” , a scene of unprecedented violence, AFP reported.
Meanwhile, protesters have announced that leaders give up demonstrations.
At least five people, including an Italian journalist were killed during clashes between protesters and security forces. An Exchange Building, a bank and several commercial centers in the capital of Thailand have been burned.
After another night of fire, the leaders of the “red shirts” of Thailand announced officially they renounce at the anti-government protests and that will teach authorities to prevent the increasing number of dead.
