Spanish actress left the set for a few days to dedicate time to the new job.This job is however temporary and will end with the arrival of the this month’s (May) issue.
“We have always wanted to work with Penelope Cruz”, editor Carine Roitfeld said.
May edition of Vogue, edited by Cruz, will benefit of three different types of covers, from which readers can choose. The choice will be atypical as well as the editorial content, where fashion is no longer prevalent.
Meanwhile, the actress believes the new experience as “extraordinary” and thanks for the discretion that was granted by the famous magazine editors.
A percentage of sales from the number designed by Penelope Cruz will go to anti-AIDS campaign conducted by the Red Cross in Africa.
