Events worthy of “Guinness World Records’ took place at the Cup in Brazil!
The match between Palmeiras and Atletico GB, relying on competition quarterfinals, took shootouts to determine a winner, but both goalkeepers were in a great shape. Marcio (Atletico GB) and Reis Marcos (Palmeiras) stopped seven consecutive penalties!
The only goal during the regular game was scored by Marcao in minute 71. The 1.90 meters tall striker took a superb shot from 18 meters to beat Marcos Reis, bringing equality “double leg”.
The match reached prolongations and then on penalties, which Atletico won 2-1 , after serving 10 penalty shootout.
