Low budget for Pirates of the Caribbean 4
The Disney’s new manager, Rich Ross requested that script of the Pirates of the Caribbean 4 : On Stranger Tides, be amended.
The reasons are purely financial. The Studio wants to spend less money for a film that is already expected to be one of the 2011 hits.
It seems that the number of shooting locations will be smaller: only two actually, Hawaii and London.
The lush Caribbean islands the title comes from were actually omitted from the list.
The number of shooting days is also reduced at 142 and special effects are used carefully.
At this time the script is changed in order to restore possible excesses of any kind.
Part Four shooting should begin soon, the world premiere being scheduled for May 20, 2011.
