Actress Lynn Redgrave dies of Breast Cancer at 67
Lynn Redgrave, the younger sister of Oscar-awarded actress Vanessa Redgrave and the aunt of the late actress Natasha Richardson died on Sunday after a long exhausting battle with breast cancer.
According to her family Redgrave was surrounded by her children in her home in Connecticut when she died
Her paternal grandparents, Roy Redgrave and Margaret Scudamore, were stage and silent film actors.
Her parents, Sir Michael Redgrave and Rachel Kempson were, were also remarkable figures in the British film industry.
Redgrave enjoyed a flourishing movie career in her late years of life. She won 2 Golden Globe awards and 2 Oscar nominations the last one being for her comedic role in “Gods and Monsters”.
She continued to make movies in spite of her illness up to the last months of her life.
