The Progress Continues-Federer and Nadal
Champion Roger Federer and second seed Rafael Nadal continue to progress in the French open final after both claimed comfortable victories on Friday.
Federer cruised past German qualifier Julian Reister to reach fourth round and will now have a match with Swiss Stanislas Wawrinka.
Meanwhile, Nadal will face former world number one Leton Hewitt in the third round after his victory from Haracio Zeballos of Argentina.
Last year’s beaten finalist dropped his first set on his way to a third round victory. The biggest shock came when the last year finalist was dumped out in straight sets by Ukranian Oleksasndir Dolgopolov.
