“Peter Pan” and “Alice in Wonderland” best children’s books

A list of 70 books for children considered as reference books was made by publisher Puffin,  BBC announces.

Classic “Peter Pan” by JM Barrie and “Alice in Wonderland” by Lewis Carroll, were designated best novels for children, from preschoolers to adolescents.

Pirate adventure of “Treasure Island by Robert Louis Stevenson and” Rabbit Family “by Richard Adams were placed also at the forefront of the best books of childhood.

Classical “Very hungry caterpillar” by Eric Carle, is considered the best book of bedtime stories and according to the  publisher who has created this top ,a copy of this book is sold in the world  every 30 seconds.

The top did not lack modern writings such as “Diary of a lazy child” by Jeff Kenney and Charlie Higson’s thriller, “Enemy.”
