The second day of air India strike
Air India has cancelled 76 flights on the second day of the strike action by the employees who are protesting against a gagging order after Saturday’s air crash.
The employees are also protesting over a delayed payment of wages. After the cancellation of 76 domestic and international flights, thousands of passengers have been stranded.
“The strike is restricted to a section of ground workers,” this is what the airline said.
The cancelled flights include the flights from Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore, Calcutta and international destinations such as Dubai, Bangkok, Kathmandu and Singapore. The strike has proved to be a wake up call for the government.
