Facebook exodus
Due to concerns of data privacy, over 60% of Facebook users are going to give up social network account. Recent study by research firm Sophos, attended by nearly 1,600 Facebook users, shows that a growing number of its members are concerned about the privacy settings of social network. Online Survey show that nearly two thirds of respondents are considering leaving Facebook, creating a mass exodus on 31 May, a so called “Quit Facebook Day” while 16% say they have already stopped using Facebook as a result of inadequate control on the data. Recently, Facebook has been criticized by the changes he made in connection with providing users data within the network and beyond. Facebook held a meeting last week, discussing the privacy changes and the criticism created. However the outcome of the meeting wasn’t revealed.
