BLACKBERRY: suspended temporarily from Saudi Arabia

Starting Friday, Blackberry mobile phone and its services will be banned from Saudi Arabia due to the tensions between Research in Motion Ltd. and the government for the demand of greater access to the data’s that are sent to the phone.

The mobile operators have been informed by the telecom regulators to stop using Blackberry services starting Friday. The telecom regulator is also known as the Commission and Information Technology Commission.

Though in Saudi, the said blackberry services were known for its use for both business enticed people and also the youth.

According to the SPA, the suspension was made to order because the blackberry did not meet all the regulatory requirements.
