Hunger can cause asthma and other chronic illness
Research studies shows that children and teenagers who do not have enough food to eat and are often always deprived of food have an increased risk of developing asthma and other chronic diseases.
The research was conducted from 1994 to 2004-2005 are from the data that were gathered from a survey of 5, 809 Canadian children with an age range of 10-15 years old and 3,333 teenagers with age from 16-21 years old.
The result of the survey shows that approximately 13.5 % of children and 28.6% of teenagers reported in poor health condition for those who experienced hunger once and even more than once during the survey.
