Herpes Virus Information

Once contracted oral herpes virus does not disappear. It remains inactive for a while, but may appear in episodes, favored by low immunity.

Herpes is one of the most common diseases. It is transmitted easily, and once the virus has entered the body it will manifest itself in episodes throughout life.

Onset occurs by the appearance of vesicles either on the lip or on the outer edge. After these vesicles break  a crust is formed.

Complete healing may take up to two weeks, and in mild forms herpes disappears within three or four days.

Once you have got the virus, it remains stuck in a latent form and may manifest at any time. In early years the frequency is higher, but it is subsequently reduced,

Herpes occurrence is favored by low immunity, fatigue, prolonged exposure to sunlight, menstruation, stress or pregnancy.

Despite “rumors”, the doctors say that there is still a vaccine to prevent shingles.
