UFC 118 Frankie Edgar vs B.J. Penn Round 1 Results
This is the rematch the people have been waiting for the battle between Frankie Edgar and B.J. Penn the rematch between the new champion and the man that most people still believe is the best lightweight in the world.
Round 1: B.J. Penn is looking to push the action he clips Edgar with an uppercut. Edgar however pushes through and gets the takedown. B.J. Penn tries to sweep but Frankie Edgar blocks. Edgar puts together a good combination. Edgar is outfighting like he did in Abu Dhabi. B.J. Penn then stands up but then Penn gets a big slam. Penn eventually gets back up but eats a knee. Frankie Edgar takes advantage in Round 1
