Mumbai terror: “We were told to shoot until they die”
Kasab Amir Mohammad Ajmal,the only attacker in Mumbai captured alive is going to be hanged after being sentenced to death for his part in the attack that took place in November 2008 in India.
CNN obtained a copy of the video of the interrogation undergone by Kasab, hours after the attack, while being in the hospital because of slight injuries.
Kasab who is believed to come from the village of Faridkot in Pakistan, told investigators how he was recruited by the Lashkar-e-Tayyiba (LeT), an illegal military group from Pakistan.
He said he was trained by LeT for three months in 2007, along with 25 other boys.
Kasab also said he did not know how many people killed as shooting all the time: “We were told to shoot until they die. We knew we would die too. Our boss used to tell us that “You will go to heaven”.
He insisted that was a minor, but medical tests revealed that he was at least 20 years old.
