Garden dwarves, prohibited by the mayor in a town in Italy
The mayor of a small town in Italy has decided to prohibit local garden dwarves accused of destroying the natural environment, reported local newspaper Il Corriere del Mezzogiorno, cited by AFP.
Furore mayor has already sent letters to warn locals that, unless they waived the dwarfs out of their gardens , they would be fined.
“I received a letter announcing the banning because they ruin the landscape,”,said Criscuolo Vittoria in Furore, which has a garden with statues of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.
“However I would like to know if our mayor does not think that there are other important issues in the village than garden dwarves” she said.
But the Hall remains in place: “We apply a on a project locally based on urbanism planning and the statues must be removed.
