Bernhard Langer’s Victory in The Senior British Open
Bernhard Langer got his first desired victory in the Senior British Open. This was a very challenging match between Corey Pavin and Bernhard in CARNOUSTIE, Scotland.
In order to finish at 5-fewer than 279 at the Carnoustie the German shot a 1 over 72. At the beginning of the fourth round Pavin was trailed by three shots. But he made a balance after a while.
After winning the match Bernhard was very excited as this was his most desired winning. He expressed his excitement, “I have always dreamed to win the British Open but I couldn’t. And this will be the next best thing for me.” Langer’s close competitor Pavin was the American Ryder Cup captain
