Pininfarina Unveils Running Prototype – Nido EV
Pininfarina S.p.A. has unveiled a running prototype of electric vehicle starting a new family of electric vehicles that the Italian company wants to produce for auto producers and utility companies.
Pininfarina said, initially it would limit production of the electric vehicle. The production of Nido EV, that is the name of the prototype, to less than 10,000 units a year as it does not want to become a major competitor to the car companies that plan to enter into the field of electric vehicles.
Pininfarina CEO Silvio Angori said “The car could help automakers to introduce an EV into their range very quickly. It could also find a market with utility companies and city governments that are looking for an EV that can be tailored to their needs”.
