Google Voice open to all in the U.S.

Google has released their newest online product Google Voice and they are now offering access to anyone and everyone in the US, without invitation.

Three years ago, Google bought the voice communications company Grand Central, and transformed it into a new brand version who is finally open to everyone in the US.

The company announced that Google Voice had gone public via a blog post on Tuesday, noting that the service already has over a million users.

“We’re proud of the progress we’ve made with Google Voice over the last few years, and we’re still just scratching the surface of what’s possible when you combine your regular phone service with the latest web technology,” Google Voice Product Managers Craig Walker and Vincent Paquet wrote in their blog post.

Unfortunately, the service is still limited to users in the US, just “for now,”.
