Brazil and Turkey hold out a hand for Iran
Foreign ministers of Iran, Brazil and Turkey have signed today an agreement in Tehran on an Iranian project related to an exchange of of low-enriched uranium for fuel from Turkey.
The agreement was signed in the presence of Iranian president, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, his Brazilian counterpart, Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva and Prime Minister in Ankara, Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
“Under this agreement, Turkey will be the place where low-enriched uranium in Iran will be stored, said Iranian foreign minister, Ramin Mehmanparast according to 20minutes.fr.
“We informed this week the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) of this Agreement. The amount of exchange is 1.200 kilograms of uranium enriched per 3.5%,” added the official.
