$12 bn rise in US Exports to UAE
Despite the economic recession, the trade between US and UAE continues to remain robust.
The exports have rose from $3.6 billion in 2002 to an astounding $12.1 billion in 2009. This report of 237% increase in US exports to UAE, signifies a source of the dynamic bilateral trade.
The report was released by the US-UAE Business Council, on Thursday. The reports emphasizes the growth of foreign direct investments in both the countries as well as the open commercial strategic cooperation that exists between both the countries.
The report was authored by Michael Moore, who is a professor of Economics and International Affairs at George Washington University. The report shows that the UAE is the top export destination for the USA.
