Alpha Bank open to deal with foreign bank
Athens, Greece – Greece’s third-largest lender Alpha Bank would consider tie ups with a foreign bank said chairman of the company Yannis Costopoulos on Sunday.
The fresh tie up could include reviving a previously aborted merger deal with National Bank of Greece SA or another European lender said Costopoulos.

South Korea trade surplus widens in July
Seoul, South Korea – In July, South Korea posted a trade surplus of 5.67 billion dollars, witnessing a gain for the sixth consecutive month, thanks to robust semiconductor and car exports.
