Plane crashes in Afghanistan
A plane with 43 people on board crashed today in the Salang mountains of Afghanistan, announced Tuesday.
Among the 38 passengers, six were foreigners, said spokesman of the Ministry of Interior, Zemaray Bashary. However he didn’t say if there were any survivors.
The aircraft belonged to the Pamir Airways company and was making a race between Kunduz and Kabul.
Afghan airport authorities announced, in the morning, they had lost contact with the aircraft.
“The plane lost contact with the Kabul airport when it was at a distance of 30 kilometers,” said Zemaray Bashary.
