Japan,a dream land
The legend says that Japan was created by Gods.
They stack a sword in the ocean waters and when they pulled it out, 4 drops of water sprang and they became the 4 main islands of the archipelago: Honshu, Hokkaido, Kyushu, and Shikoku. Although it is located at the southern extremity of Asia, Japan is mostly covered by mountains.
Tourists will find in Japan a mixture of oriental traditions, the fascination for new technology, martial arts and love for nature.
The Budhist temples remind of the Chinese cultural roots, that the Japanese have taken as an inspiration point to later mould their own values.A visit to a Japanese house should always start with taking one’s shoes off at the door.
In order to reveal the secrets of a language so different it is useful to know that Japanese use 3 types of alphabet at the same time.
Japan is not only a country but a whole different fascinating world.
