Brad Pitt is officially directing M:14
Brad Bird (The Incredibles, Ratatouille) will direct the fourth part of the series Mission: Impossible announces the Empire. Among the options taken into consideration in the recent months has been Edgar Wright (Shaun of the Dead).
The film will bring Tom Cruise back to the big screen , who will also be the producer of the film , alongside with JJ Abrams.
Tom Cruise thinks that Brad Bird is a very talented director who will manage to bring a new breath to the famous franchises.
Mission: Impossible IV would be released in theaters on the Memorial Day in 2011, at the same time with the comedy The Hangover2 from Warner Brothers.
The three Mission Impossible franchise films have together grossed more than $ 1.4 billion worldwide.
