Newlyweds prefer cash to traditional wedding gifts
A recent study has proven that couples in Great Britain prefer to be offered money as wedding gifts instead of other presents.
According to a survey performed by The Wedding Magazine, 45% of the newly weds choose money as wedding present, 29% would go for other type of gifts, while the rest 26% would rather receive vouchers to cover the expences of their honey moon.
The research shows that over half of these couples claim they afford to pay themselves the wedding expenses, while the rest have their parents pay for it.
Therefore it seems that, nowadays , weddings seem to have been transformed into genuine businesses.
