Chicago Bulls Coach Vinny Del Negro Fired

Vinny Del Negro, the Chicago Bulls coach,  was fired six days after elimination of his team in the first round of the NBA play-offs.

Del Negro had managed to qualify the Chicago team in the play-offs two years in a row, being disposed consecutively in the first round, by the Boston Celtics (last year) and the Cleveland Cavaliers after the 2009-2010 season marked by tensions with club management.

“I learned a lot from him and we had two beautiful presences in the play-offs. To coached the Bulls is a difficult task, a lot is expected of you. I wish him all the best.

Considering how many players have raised because of him, I’m sure that he will have no difficulty in  finding another coaching  job soon, “said the French Bulls player , Joakim Noah, in a message sent to ESPN sports channel.

Chicago Bulls was eliminated last week, in the first round of the play-offs  of the Eastern Conference’s NBA Cleveland Cavaliers, with the score of 4-1.
