Ronaldinho, Totti and Benzema will miss World Cup
All 32 teams qualified to the World Cup tournament that were presented yesterday presented the expanded lots for the South Africa competition (June 11-July 11).
The controversies haven’t delayed in appearing as several key players will be missing from the biggest football event of the year.
Ruud van Nistelrooy and Francesco Totti were left outside the lots of Netherlands and Italy respectively, while Raymond Domenech chose to ignore Karim Benzema and Patrick Vieira when he made France’s national selection.
Moreover, Carlos Dunga, Brazil’s coach, has not called numerous celebrities to batch, including Ronaldinho.
AC Milan star, world champion in 2002, will, therefore, miss the tournament in South Africa.
Furthermore, the Brazilian Adriano will miss as well and so will Diego, Alexandre Pato and the young hopes of Santos – or Neymar Paulo Henrique.
