Lee DeWyze…America’s Ninth Idol
The ninth America’s idol has come down to a single mother from Toledo who is a paint salesman from Chicago.
The nation supported Lee DeWyze, a 24 year old guitar and piano player, with its vote and is the America’s ninth idol.
The musician from Mount Prospect, Illinois won majority of viewer’s voter, thereby beating 24-year old crystal Bowersox of Ellinston, Ohio.
The idol finale averaged 23.2 million viewers, a 16 percent drop from the previous season’s finale.
Idol has also bid farewell to Simon Cowell who is one of the original judges of the idol and is expected to return to News Corp.’s Fox network.
