Diego Maradona Undergoes surgery after dog bites face
Argentina national team coach Diego Armando Maradona has had to undergo emergency surgery after being bitten on the face by one of his dogs, according to local media reports.
The 49-year-old former Napoli star is not thought to be in any serious danger, and reports suggest he could be released from hospital later today.
Maradona was taken to Los Arcos clinic in Buenos Aires for an urgent operation with his face bleeding after being attacked by one of his dogs at home. He arrived at the clinic with his girlfriend.
