Boston Portsmouth Air Show 2010 to get started
Boston Portsmouth Air Show 2010 is this weekend’s most expected event, being held this Saturday, August 28th, and Sunday August 29th, at the old Pease Air Force Base.
More than over 70,000 people are expected at the 2 day festivities, officials say.
This year’s Portsmouth Air Show will include the Blue Angels for the first time since 1990. “In the air show, you will see us flying anywhere between about 120 miles per hour – up to about 700 miles per hour – just below the speed of sound,” said Captain Greg McWherter.
There will also be the U.S. Army Golden Knights parachute crew to perform their well known maneuver “US Flag Drop.”
The tickets can also be purchased on the internet: Adults $ 20, Youth (6-11) $ 15, Senior (60 and over) $ 15; Military (with ID) and 15, in the place of purchase for Adults $ 25;
