Yesterday, hearings began in the case of Jadhav, who was arrested in Balochistan in March of previous year and charged with conducting espionage and sabotage activities against Pakistan.
Faisal also showed the court a picture of a passport which he said was found in Jadhav's possession bearing a completely different "and Muslim" name. Islamabad has also not responded to a visa application by Jadav´s parents seeking to travel to Pakistan to visit their son, he said.

Dismissing India's contention that it invoked the jurisdiction of the court because of the "imminent" possibility of execution of Jadhav, Qureshi said the court was bound to settle disputes between countries peacefully and not waste time on issues sought to be raised for political objective.
