Sheryl Underwood is weighing in on her friend Mo'Nique's viral comments toward Lee Daniels, Oprah and Tyler Perry, and Underwood says she's anxious about her.
Appearing at the world famous Apollo Theater in New York City Saturday, the actress was on stage and slammed the producers of Precious, the 2009 film which landed her an Academy Award for Best Supporting actress.
Mo'Nique had a falling out with "Precious" director Lee Daniels after she won the Oscar for that movie, and she's made the "blackballed in Hollywood" claim before. As hilarious and talented as Mo'Nique is, she's going to continue pushing the "I was blackballed by Lee Daniels and Oprah" narrative until she lands another major project.
Now, Mo'Nique has lumped Oprah Winfrey and actor/director Tyler Perry in with Daniels, claiming they all have some responsibility for her stalled career. No, baby, I wasn't blackballed I was fucked up by some niggas who had no balls.
Mo'Nique is not pulling any punches. Y'all can suck my d**k if I had one'. She added, "What I would say to you guys".
"Thank you, Mr. Lee Daniels".

There was also friction over Mo'Nique's promotion of the film at the Cannes Film Festival, which she turned down in order to spend more time with her family.
In speaking with TMZ regarding her onstage comments, Mo'Nique, alongside her husband Sidney Hicks, said that everything she says "comes from my heart" and cited late comedian Richard Pryor for inspiring her to tell the truth. Mo'Nique starred in Daniel's 2010 film "Precious" and since then has only acted in four films, something she claims is due to their "whiteballing".
"I have and will always think of her for parts that we can collaborate on however, the consensus among the creative teams and powers thus far were to go another way with these roles".
At the time she was promoting her indie "Blackbird".
"Whoever those people are who say, 'Mo'Nique is hard, ' those people are either heartless, ruthless or treat people like they're worthless", she said.
