The auto will come with 6 different and spectacular color variants including Oxford Blue, Sherwod Brown, Gallant Red, Silky Silver, Magma Gray and White.
"Dzire was specially created for India, and has been one of the most popular brands ever in the Indian automobile industry", Kenichi Ayukawa, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer at Maruti Suzuki, said in a statement.

The upcoming version of the Maruti Suzuki Dzire will be the third generation Dzire.
Previously known as "Swift DZire", the new model loses the prefix and will only be known as "DZire".

The vehicle will also be available in the diesel variant, which comes with the Fiat-sourced 1.3-litre multi-jet diesel engine which can churn out max power of 74 bhp and peak torque of 190 Nm. Both petrol and diesel versions get an option of either a 5-speed manual gearbox or 5-speed AMT. The 2017 Dzire petrol's company claimed fuel economy figure is 22 km/l, while that of the diesel is 28.40 km/l.
According to RS Kalsi, the new Maruti will be produced only at Manesar plant for now although there is sufficient capacity available at the Gurgaon plant as well. Importantly, Maruti is offering the new Dzire with dual airbags, ABS and ISOFIX child seat anchors as standard.
